Just left the scene of the fight between Romeo, Mercutio, and Tybalt. I sentenced Romeo to be banished from Verona because he killed Tybalt. I know to many this may seem unfair, but Romeo was the reason the fight all the started. He was the one that married Juliet in the first place. Anyways, I've told all my citizens in my creed that whoever starts another quarrel will pay for it with his life. Did those three think I was joking? Well I wasn't, and if banishing Romeo from the city will help people realize that this creed wasn't a joke then I will do it. Romeo should be thankful that I'm not sentencing him to death, I'm just simply banishing him from ever entering my city. I don't care if he can't see Juliet anymore, he wasn't supposed to marry her in the first place. Does he think just because he's married he gets special treatments? That's not how it works. I'm sure this little love they have for each other is just puppy love and they're just blinded by love. Romeo and Juliet will find someone else when they're old and ready enough to handle a real relationship! The people who disagree with my ruling need to understand that I'm doing this because I want Verona to be a safe place again, and I want people to know that what I stated in my creed is all true. I am going to miss Mercutio a lot, and Romeo should be thankful that he's still living while two others died on his behalf!

Prince, in your creed you said that the next person who starts another quarrel will pay for it with his life, well Tybalt started the brawl and paid for it with his life. Shouldn't that mean that he is off the hook? It is not fair that Romeo has to pay by being banished. He wasn't the one who started it. He just finished it. Although he killed someone, does he really have to be banished. It's not like he killed Tybalt on purpose. He was part of his new family.

Prince Escalus, with all due respect, why is it that I may not marry my own true love. It is not our fault that this quarrel happened. Tybalt started this whole fight by killing Mercutio in the first place. This would have never happened if it weren't for the cruel Tybalt trying to end my life. I do not even know what in the heavens I did that stirred his anger. However, I doth not deserve this punishment for I was purely protecting myself.

Nay! I strongly disagree with what you are saying. Do you have proof that Romeo has started the feud? Were you there when this whole scene was caused? Methinks not! This is truly unfair and for you to say our love is not true just sickens me. It is true that you said that one shall pay if one starts the fight and that one person already did. It is Tybalt, even though he is my cousin, I know that he started it. I trust Romeo and thou should have not banish him at all.

Oh thy lord, why is it that I cannot do whatever I like. Juliet and I are extremely passionate about each other, and nothing shall bring it to an end. Tybalt had to die, for he had first killed my friend. I cannot stand to see Tybalt killing Mercutio and him bleeding to death. I had to kill Tybalt, for he owes the life of Mercutio. Oh thy lord, I have done no wrongdoing, for I just did in what I believe in. You have done a wrong choice, for banishing me from Verona will not stop me from seeing Juliet. I am in love with her, and is her husband. Our love shall never die and we shall be together no matter what obstacle comes in between our love!

Prince, my husband Romeo did not start the fight. My own cousin Tybalt started the fight. He killed Romeo's friend Mercutio. If Romeo hadn't killed Tybalt, he would have killed Romeo. Please do not banish my true love from Verona. He also wants to end the ancient feud between our two families. He wants to make peace in Verona.

Thank you, Prince Escalus, for making such a good decision to rid Verona of that cruel murderer. I do think you should have killed him for what he has done, but either wayy, he's gone, and that's all that matters.

Prince, I miss my Juliet. I know I dont deserve special treatment, but I had to kill Tybalt. He killed Mercutio, my friend and your kinsman! Also, I disagree with your opinion about young love. My love for Juliet is not puppy love. My love for her is limitless. You can't imagine the things I'd do for her.
